Forest Lawn Cemetery
You don't have to leave the city to see incredible foliage this time of year. Forest Lawn, Buffalo's 269 acre cemetery, is the perfect spot for a fall stroll. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Forest Lawn is the final resting place for some of Buffalo's most significant people, including the 13th President of the United States Millard Fillmore. Founded in 1849 by Charles E. Clark, Forest Lawn has served as a cemetery, park, arboretum, crematory and outdoor museum for over 150 years. Incredible monuments, sculptures and mausoleums - including Frank Lloyd Wright's Blue Sky Mausoleum - are all a must see.
